What we built
Social Wizard AI is an AI wingman for dating apps and social messaging. It is the app you open when you have read a message four times and still have no idea what to send back.
The interaction model is deliberately blunt: upload a screenshot of the conversation, pick a tone, get suggestions. No account setup ritual, no prompt engineering, no blank text box asking the user to do the hard part themselves.
Four jobs, one app
The product does four related things, each mapped to a moment people actually get stuck in:
- Reply suggestions: upload a chat screenshot and get three custom replies in the tone you chose
- Conversation starters: upload a photo from a dating profile or social feed and get openers that invite an answer
- Captions: creative captions matched to the vibe of an image, for Instagram, TikTok and the rest
- Awkward situation solver: describe the spot you are in, or photograph it, and get concrete advice on handling it
Tone and language
Generic AI text reads as generic AI text, which in a dating conversation is worse than saying nothing. Over fifteen distinct tonalities (Flirty, Witty, Sarcastic, Empathetic, Professional and more) let the output sound like the person sending it.
The app supports thirty-two languages, so a user in Prague, Lisbon or Seoul gets suggestions in the language the conversation is actually happening in.
Subscriptions and infrastructure
Firebase carries authentication, data and delivery. RevenueCat sits in front of both app stores, so entitlements, pricing and renewals are configured once rather than twice, and a pricing change does not mean two releases.
The core AI features sit behind an active subscription. That was designed in from the first build rather than retrofitted after launch, which is what usually turns a monetisation change into a rewrite.
Privacy
People upload their most personal conversations into this app. Analyses are processed securely and personal conversations are not stored. That constraint shaped the data model rather than a line added to the privacy policy afterwards.
